How To Get Rid Of Pathogens To Sleep Better

The only way to truly get over insomnia is to find out what’s causing it. There’s something going on in your body that is causing it and I can help you find out what it is.

The best way to find out if you have any of these pathogens is to do a GI Map. This stool test shows what’s living in your gut, both good and bad. The lab has recently made the test more sensitive to H. pylori so it’s less likely to miss it. Knowing what’s in your gut is especially important since it determines what supplements are right for you. How you deal with H. pylori is drastically different than what you do about a parasite.

Since I’m a functional health coach and not a doctor, if your test results show that you have H. pylori, candida or parasites, I am required to give you a letter to give to your doctor. You have 3 options for what to do about it.

  • Take an antibiotic. There are 3 issues with this approach. First of all, you take an antibiotic for 10 days. The life cycle of h pylori is at least 30 days. Secondly, pathogens form a biofilm or protective shield around themselves. It’s hard for antibiotics and herbs to get through the biofilm. That’s why I recommend a biofilm buster to break down the biofilm so that the supplements or antibiotics can get through and do their job. Lastly, antibiotics kill both good and bad bacteria and damages the gut wall which is exactly what we’re trying to heal.

  • Self-treat with an herbal protocol and a biofilm buster.

  • Take antibiotics AND do the herbal protocol.

  • Candida And Mental Health

If sleep is disrupted or needed in excessive amounts, the body’s or digestive system may be compromised. Likewise, a compromised immune system can overexert the body and create problems with sleep patterns and mental function.

Candida affects the liver, which transforms toxins into a non-toxic state and removed from the bloodstream. If too many toxins, such as excessive viral, fungi, or parasites, pass through, then the liver can’t filter the blood quickly enough. The still-toxic blood spreads throughout the body, including the brain. Take a candida quiz to find out what other symptoms may be present, and if the cause for brain fog, dizziness, and other head-related symptoms could be the cause of candida.

The Candida Overgrowth Problem: Too Much Yeast No Too Little Science

Yeast: Essential for bread, terrible for your body. That’s what a lot of alternative medicine doctors tout, and the claim has now reached fever pitch thanks to the Internet and social media. The idea goes something like this: Fungi, which include yeast such as Candida albicans, are a small but important part of our gastrointestinal flora, but they can also “overgrow.” When they do, they can “break down the wall of the intestine and penetrate the bloodstream—releasing toxic by-products into your body” and leading to a host of unpleasant symptoms. In an over at Goop titled “The Insidious Yeast Infection We All Have And How To Treat It,” functional medicine doctor Amy Myers claims that nine out of 10 patients she sees suffer from Candida overgrowth and that it is wreaking havoc on our country’s health.

Such doctors pesky Candida for pretty much every annoyance you can fathom: allergies, asthma, impotence, food cravings, acne, headaches, fatigue, brain fog, joint pain, rashes, bloating, autoimmune diseases, mood swings, itching, nail fungus, insomnia, low sex drive, and weight gain. Worse, it’s all our fault, because Candida thrive in part due to our poor lifestyle choices—sugar, alcohol, contraceptives, stress, and antibiotics, among other things. Thankfully, these same doctors offer tests to diagnose the problem and of course they also sell cures, a few of which you can buy directly over the Internet for hundreds of dollars.

      Treatment For Candida Infection

Antifungal or antibiotic medication prescribed after diagnosis can treat vaginitis. Treatment for the infection depends widely on the cause and condition of the female. The treatment may include the application of low-potency topical steroids, oral or topical antibiotics, anti-fungal or antibacterial creams, etc.

Hey Did You Know I Have A Programme On This

How Candida Albicans May Affect Your Health

Based on nutrition but with tons of other goodies as well it is da bomb and a fraction of what it costs to work with us 1:1.Why not give it a go?

      Check it out

Once you’ve done your diet, there are a couple of supplements that I suggest. The first thing that I always start with is a biofilm disruptor. Biofilm is basically protecting Candida. It’s like a shield that is even protecting it from antibiotics. If you have a biofilm disruptive first, you’re setting it free, so that it can be detected by things that might not be as aggressive as antibiotics. I would never use antibiotics with Candida.

You can use a biofilm disruptor by Kirkman. There’s also one by Bio-Botanical Research, which is excellent and because that is going to set free not only Candida but most likely also bad bacteria or parasites, using bentonite clay to catch that, is a very good idea. You reduce your detox effect in that way. Now, you want to go in with supplements to get rid of your Candida specifically.

I use Candida Now, by the brand called Now. Myself, I do a cure every six months because I’m prone to it. I’m going to give you the strict protocol that was suggested to me.

    • Use your biofilm disruptor for two weeks.
    • Do a 16-day antifungal rotation. The reason why we do these rotations is because we don’t want to Candida to get used to it. We change it every four days. Have two of them and then you change them every four days.
    • What Should I Do If I Get Repeat Yeast Infections

If you get four or more yeast infections in a year, talk to your doctor or nurse.

About 5% of women get four or more vaginal yeast infections in one year. This is called recurrent vulvovaginal candidiasis . RVVC is more common in women with diabetes or weak immune systems, such as with HIV, but it can also happen in otherwise healthy women.

Doctors most often treat RVVC with antifungal medicine for up to six months. Researchers also are studying the effects of a vaccine to help prevent RVVC.

If I Have A Yeast Infection Does My Sexual Partner Need To Be Treated

Maybe. Yeast infections are not STIs. But it is possible to pass yeast infections to your partner during vaginal, oral, or anal sex.

      • If your partner is a man, the risk of infection is low. About 15% of men get an itchy rash on the penis if they have unprotected sex with a woman who has a yeast infection. If this happens to your partner, he should see a doctor. Men who haven’t been circumcised and men with diabetes are at higher risk.
      • If your partner is a woman, she may be at risk. She should be tested and treated if she has any symptoms.

      Yeast Overgrowth In Autism

Yeast overgrowth is a medical issue common to autism that can cause sleep disturbances, sensory issues, hyperactivity, picky eating, stimming, and more.  Even more concerning, yeast overgrowth can cause physical pain.  However, when treated, symptoms can lessen or disappear altogether, significantly improving your child’s quality of life.

In this article, you will find information about yeast overgrowth, including:

      • What it is and why parents of children with autism should be aware of it
      • Symptoms

Candida/fungal Overgrowth Another Cause Of Night Sweats

Night Sweats are very common in fibromyalgia, and to a lesser degree in the general population. In two recent newsletters I talked about the role of and adrenal hormone deficiencies as causes of night sweats. Today I’ll discuss another very common problem that triggers night sweats: infections.

Candida is an overgrowth of yeast/fungi . It is a major issue In fibromyalgia and the general population. Unfortunately there’s no medical test for this, so a diagnosis can only be made clinically — which to most doctors means that it doesn’t exist. And you can’t diagnose and treat something if you don’t even know it exists!

So how can you tell if you have it? One way is that if you have nasal congestion, sinusitis or irritable bowel syndrome without any apparent causes, then there’s a reasonable chance you have Candida overgrowth and should treat it to bring its level in your body back into balance. This not only helps improve your other symptoms, but also helps eliminate your night sweats and even helps decrease your pain, fatigue and brain fog.

So balancing Candida is critical. Now let’s discuss how to do it!

How Can I Prevent A Yeast Infection

You can take steps to lower your risk of getting yeast infections:

        • Do not douche.  removes some of the normal bacteria in the vagina that protects you from infection.
        • Do not use scented feminine products, including bubble bath, sprays, pads, and tampons.
        • .
        • Do not wear tight underwear, pantyhose, pants, or jeans. These can increase body heat and moisture in your genital area.
        • Wear underwear with a cotton crotch. Cotton underwear helps keep you dry and doesn’t hold in warmth and moisture.
        • Change out of wet swimsuits and workout clothes as soon as you can.
        • After using the bathroom, always wipe from front to back.
        • Avoid hot tubs and very hot baths.
        • If you have diabetes, be sure your blood sugar is under control.

We Are Going To Look At Candida What Is It What Does It Have To Do With Sleep And How Do You Get Rid Of It

I’ve just had a client, and he reported that a doctor said that Candida is everywhere. It’s never a problem and don’t take it seriously. I believe it is a good topic to talk about because I can see huge differences among people, who have a Candida problem and those who don’t.

        What is Candida?

Candida is a strain of yeast that you have in your body and in specific amounts, it’s totally normal. It’s what we should have, but it has a tendency to take over, especially if your immune system is already compromised and that brings along all sorts of problems.

How do you know that you have Candida?

If you have a terrible case of Candida the side effects are

        • headaches
        • a really white coating on your tongue
        • vaginal yeast infections.

You can get it tested with an IGG test, either with a blood or a stool test. I usually do it in a stool test. That is one reason to do it. If you have a suspicion that you have Candida, do a spit test. It is not as reliable, but you can do it at home. Take a glass of water and where your water breaks with the oxygen, you spit in there and if your spit is going down to the bottom and it has these long thready kind of tangles, then there is suspicion that you have Candida. Then it might be a good idea to invest in getting a Candida test done.

What does this have to do with sleep?

How do you get rid of it?

        Here’s how to replace it:

You can also include spices, such as

        • Ceylon cinnamon
        • Turmeric and Ginger

Identify And Address Other Factors That Contribute To Gut Dysbiosis

All of the above will be for naught if we do not uncover and treat other factors causing an imbalance of pathogens and good flora in the gut.  Therefore, please do not underestimate the importance of discussing the following factors with your child’s doctor.

At the risk of sounding repetitive, diet matters.  Indeed, it is the foundation of all healing.  Food such as sugar, potato chips, white bread, pasta, juice, refined sugars, and soft drinks will feed yeast. Therefore, dietary changes are essential to completely resolving a chronic yeast problem. It is noteworthy that not all fungus is the same.  To be clear, the type of yeast that most kids struggle with is Candida albicans. Whereas the kind of yeast used to bake bread is Saccharomyces cerevisiae, which, when consumed in moderation, may help keep the gut’s population of Candida albicans in check.

        Overuse of Antibiotics

Use antibiotics sparingly. As discussed above, antibiotics kill both beneficial and pathogenic bacteria, allowing the fungus to overgrow and fill in that space.  For this reason, many functional medicine doctors prescribe antifungals alongside antibiotics if they are needed.

        Elevated Oxalates

Examples of ways to reduce oxalate levels include:

        • Implementing a low oxalate diet.
        • Taking supplements that bind to and help usher out oxalates, such as:
        • Magnesium citrate
        • B6
        Metal Toxicity

Top 5 Causes Of Candida Die Off Symptoms

How SIBO, Dysbiosis, Candida and Other Gut Issues Can ...

Here are the top 5 causes we have found to cause die off symptoms:

        1. Congested / Constipated Colon

Common Symptoms: Constipation, mood swings, fatigue, bloating, gas, body odor, flu like symptoms, headache, strong die off symptoms The colon is the primary organ in the body responsible for removing toxins from the body through normal bowel movements. For this reason, making sure your colon is cleansed so it can quickly eliminate the dying candida and its toxins is the most important step when treating candida and candida die off symptoms, especially since the majority of the candida overgrowth occurs in the colon.

The overgrowth of candida in the colon is the reason why most people with candida issues also suffer from digestive problems such as constipation, bloating, gas and others. If your colon can’t properly digest and eliminate foods, it also won’t be able to effectively eliminate the dying candida and its toxins.

This critical step is the main cause of the candida cleanse side effects, healing crises and die off symptoms so many people experience during the candida treatment ; it just takes your body too much time to eliminate these toxins.

      • IMPORTANT: if you currently suffer from constipation, you may want to take the symptom checker , as your die off symptoms may be related to issues with your colon function.
      • Get Lots Of Good Bacteria

Getting plenty of good bacteria will help rebalance your gut and get rid of Candida. Ingest a constant supply of probiotics, which are the good bacteria that live in the digestive tract. A good probiotic containing acidophilus will speed up recovery in your digestive tract and aid in the removal of Candida.

You can also easily get good bacteria by eating certain foods. Up your probiotic intake by eating cultured or fermented foods like yogurt, kefir, sauerkraut, kimchi, and natto. These foods naturally contain beneficial bacteria, which will help with the restore and balance of your gut flora.

It’s important to continue to avoid inflammatory foods that can harm the gastrointestinal tract. Many people with candida overgrowth also have a leaky gut and that can put them at increased risk of food sensitivities.

What Is Candida Die Off 6 Ways To Manage Symptoms

        April 25, 2019

If you recently cleaned up your diet, gave up alcohol or went gluten-free and now you unexpectedly find yourself feeling worse than you did before, then you might be experiencing symptoms of “candida die off.”  Many people describe candida die off symptoms — which can include headaches, brain fog, nausea and more — as being “flu like,” or similar to seasonal allergies, because they can leave you feeling downright exhausted and crummy.

Another name for candida die off is “herxheimer reaction” , which is a negative reaction to endotoxin-like products that are released by the death of harmful microorganisms living in the body. What are ? They are toxins found inside bacterial cells that are released when a cell disintegrates. They cause the immune system to increase responses and  and can therefore contribute to a number of symptoms and even diseases.

You’re probably wondering: how long does a herxheimer reaction last? And what can you do to help manage symptoms? Below, we’ll cover a typical candida die off timeline you can expect, as well as natural ways to make symptoms more bearable.

Is It Possible To Get Candida In The Chest And Lungs

One of the questions i was asked recently was can candida get in the lungs and cause problems like pneumonia or chest pains. This is serious when this happens, however the answer is yes. It is hard to get diagnosed on this though and usually the only way it will show up is with a chest cat scan. A basic x ray will usually show nothing.

So, if you have candida and if you get chest pains etc, then i recommend insisting the doctor do a complete check with a cat scan. In fact insist even if the doctor wants to argue, remember you are paying them and too many times doctors ignore candida when instead they should be focusing on it more.

What happens when Candida gets into the chest is usually Asthma type symptoms all the way to pneumonia. I have had Pneumonia once and i can tell you it was definitely linked to candida, in fact i got it after taking Diflucan the first time. That is why taking drugs should only ever be seen as a last resort. They can actually make your Candida much much worse. Why? Because candida is a very strong organism and it can adapt to many conditions in the human body.

What you need to so is firstly listen to your doctor but ask all questions? Remember to ask about any types of antibiotics and if they may effect this type of infection. You want any clue so you can recover as quickly as possible. Then after those queries are answered you then have to change your diet to our strict recommended diet.

        What Causes Yeast Overgrowth

Now that you know what yeast overgrowth symptoms can look like, let’s talk about what can cause or contribute to it.

        Sugar and Simple Carbohydrates

Yeast feeds on sugar. Therefore, limiting foods high in sugar is the first and most crucial step.  A diet high in simple carbohydrates feeds yeast. Simple carbohydrates are found naturally in foods such as fruits, milk products, pasta, white bread, processed and refined sugars such as candy, table sugar, syrups, and soft drinks.

Bacteria live in the intestinal tract, sharing space with fungus . Antibiotics kill bacteria, both good and bad, but not yeast. When using antibiotics, yeast can grow to fill in the space left by the removal of the bacteria.

        Dysfunctional Immune System

Immunodeficiency can be at the root of chronic fungal infections. See more below about testing for this and supporting the immune system.  Maintaining a healthy immune system and regular, healthy bowel movements can help keep the candida in check.

Steroids bring down inflammation by decreasing the activity of the body’s immune system. Consequently, this often gives rise to fungal infections.  For example, corticosteroids and TNF inhibitors both increase a person’s chances of fungal overgrowth. To learn more, please see the CDC’s webpage that discusses how corticosteroids and TNF inhibitors increase a person’s risk of fungal overgrowth.

How C Albicans Affects The Brain Memory

Dr. Corry and colleagues tested several doses of C. albicans in a mouse model of the infection. They were trying to find a dose that would be high enough to affect the brain, but not high enough to cause debilitating disease.

Finally, the scientists decided to inject a dose of 25,000 yeasts in the rodents’ bloodstream. Dr. Corry and the team were surprised to discover that the fungus penetrated the blood-brain barrier.

The blood-brain barrier is a mechanism that protects the brain from pathogens that may exist in the blood. The barrier separates the brain’s capillaries, or blood vessels, from the brain’s cells and tissue.

        C. albicans crossed this barrier and affected the brain’s immune cells. “We thought that yeast would not enter the brain, but it ,” comments Dr. Corry.

“In the brain, the yeast triggered the activity of microglia, a resident type of immune cell,” he explains, adding, “he cells became very active, ‘eating and digesting’ the yeast. They also produced a number of molecules that mediated an inflammatory response, leading to the capture of the yeasts inside a granule-type structure inside the brain.”

The researchers called this structure “fungus-induced glial granuloma, or FIGG.” The scientists also noticed that, as FIGGs formed, amyloid precursor proteins and molecules of a protein called amyloid beta developed around the yeast cells.

How Is A Yeast Infection Treated

Yeast infections are usually treated with antifungal medicine. See your doctor or nurse to make sure that you have a vaginal yeast infection and not another type of infection.

You can then buy antifungal medicine for yeast infections at a store, without a prescription. Antifungal medicines come in the form of creams, tablets, ointments, or suppositories that you insert into your vagina. You can apply treatment in one dose or daily for up to seven days, depending on the brand you choose.

Your doctor or nurse can also give you a single dose of antifungal medicine taken by mouth, such as fluconazole . If you get more than four vaginal yeast infections a year, or if your yeast infection doesn’t go away after using over-the-counter treatment, you may need to take regular doses of antifungal medicine for up to six months.

        How To Clear Up Candida

If you tested positive for candida overgrowth, or your symptoms have you convinced that yeast is the cause of your ailment, the good news is that you can cure it by reversing the factors in your diet and lifestyle that may have caused it.

It may not be realistic for you to completely ditch antibiotics and oral contraceptives. This is when supporting your gut through diet and supplementation is especially important.

A candida regimen can be strict. You have to be willing to change your eating habits in order to starve the candida and recolonize your gut with healthy bacteria.

Avoid most forms of sugar to kill candida, since sugar is the food that feeds candida. There are also a few other foods to avoid that you may not suspect.

        Target Emotional And Psychological Issues

        7 Natural Remedies for Candida

Addressing your mental, emotional, and psychological health is of top importance when healing yourself from Candida. During the Candida cleanse, you’ll experience Candida die-off, which is when your body expels toxins and infection-causing bacteria.

For most people, Candida die-off will most likely cause you to feel worse before you feel better, so it’s crucial to look after your emotional and psychological health during Candida treatment.

Practicing deep breathing, meditation, and journaling can all help decrease emotional hurdles and cravings during treatment.

Natural Remedies For Candida Yeast Infection

Commonly known as yeast infection, candida is a consequence of an overgrowth of yeast in the human body. Candida causes oral thrush which is very common in small children, vaginal yeast infections and urinary tract infections. Any person may get candida infections at any part of the body, but most often, they happen in the mouth, known as oral thrush, and in the vagina.

There are some ways to cure the irritating candida infections and to ensure that they do not get into a more serious condition. Below are the most effective treatment options you can try to treat candida infections.

        1. Reduce Sugar Intake

The first step towards treating candida infections is to cut out the excess sugar content from your diet. An average person eats over 126 grams of sugar a day. Parasites such as candida feed extensively on sugar and thrive more. Thus, if you don’t cut down on your sugar consumption, it will make the candida infection grow severe.

Going without sugar for some weeks will be a huge transition, but it will pay off. You will curb the candida infections and notice other health benefits also.

        2.  Increase Probiotic Intake to kill  candida

You can also try to add foods like pickles, kimchi,  tempeh, and miso which are good sources of probiotics.

        3. Cut the Antibiotics

        4. Creams alone won’t save you from candida infection
