Setting Up And Using The Inspire 2
You’ll need to download the app before setting up the Inspire 2, and create a Fitbit account if you don’t already have one. If you already have a Fitbit account, tap your profile image, select Set Up a Device, select the Inspire 2 from the list, then follow the on-screen instructions.
During the setup process, you’ll need to enter a four-digit code that appears on the Inspire 2’s display, into the app. Once it’s set up, the app offers an overview of the Inspire’s main features, how to change the band, and how to navigate its interface. The entire process only takes about 10 minutes.
To get calls, texts, and app notifications on the Inspire 2, go to your phone’s settings menu, tap Bluetooth, tap the information icon next to your device, and enable Share System Notifications. Then, from the Today tab in the Fitbit app, tap your profile picture > Inspire 2 > Notifications, and toggle on the ones you want to receive.
After going through these steps, app notifications successfully came though on my Inspire 2 test unit, but it never alerted me for calls or texts. Fitbit says the Inspire 2 needs to be within 30 feet of your phone to receive notifications, but that wasn’t the problem. I’m not sure what caused the issue, because I checked my settings several times and the Inspire 2 never showed call and text notifications, even when my phone was in close range.

What You Can Do With Fitbit Sleep Information
Sleep monitoring is designed to help you assess if you’re sleeping a healthy amount, and to improve your sleep.
You can use the information to look for trends, like if you consistently don’t get enough sleep, or sleep restlessly and wake up often during a night’s sleep.
It’s also useful for spotting changes in your sleep. If you usually sleep well but have started to see a change in the quality of your sleep cycles, that might be an indication something is wrong, and you can try to change your sleep habits or have a discussion with your doctor.

Even More Advanced Features And Measuring Oxygen Levels
A number of Fitbit devices have a built-in SpO2 sensor. This includes the Charge 3,4 & 5, Versa range, Sense and Ionic. The sensor measure oxygen levels in the blood, providing information on how well the body distributes the gas from the lungs to all of its cells.
These levels fluctuate throughout the day. Healthy individuals typically register readings above 97%. Measurements should never fall below 95%, although levels above 92% are generally considered safe.
In the morning youll notice a graph called Estimated Oxygen Variation in the sleep section of the Fitbit app. If the line is green your blood oxygen is fine, orange indicates there may be a problem. There are also two horizontal lines which show the healthy range. The company is said to be working now on using this information to identify conditions such as sleep apnea.

The Limitations Of Sleep Tracking
Even though Fitbit is a brilliant gadget and really useful as a health tool, it does have certain limitations.
