I’ve been having all the similar symptoms like cramping, spotting, frequent urines, insane insomnia & the most vivid dreams?? I feel like a rabbit as I’m constantly feeling aroused & I feel like something is sitting on my pelvis??
I took a pt 10 days after ovulation but came back negative but I haven’t taken another yet as my periods are irregular? So I just thought I’d take another test in a couple more weeks?
The problem is, is that I was told by the Dr not to fall pregnant due to the fibroids that had developed earlier in my life but now it’s grown so I stopped trying? Now what do you know, the second I stop trying, I get all the symptoms. Now I’m scared to know cz of the fibroids??? Do you think I should do another test now as it’s been over 3 wks after ovulation?

Studies by sleep experts indicate that the number of hours of sleep increases, while sleep quality decreases in the first trimester.
Treatment Of Insomnia During Pregnancy
Being treated for insomnia is important for your own health and that of your baby. There are drugs to help you sleep, but your doctor will most likely suggest non-drug alternatives first. These include:1-3
- Changing your sleep position, adding pillows
- Going to bed and waking at the same time every day
- Avoiding naps and caffeine
- If a nap is needed, it should last no more than 20-30 minutes and be taken earlier in the day

According to a study published in the journal Obstetric Medicine in 2015, about 4.5 percent of pregnant women in the United States say theyve taken over-the-counter or prescription sleep aids during their pregnancies. But, said Dr. Riley, I tell my patients not to use them. While diphenhydramine , the most commonly recommended over-the-counter sleep medicine by doctors, can help and is safe to take occasionally while pregnant, it loses its effectiveness if you take it more than once or twice a week, Dr. Riley said. Some doctors prescribe zolpidem , but that may carry risks: One Taiwanese study of nearly 12,500 pregnant women published in the journal Clinical Pharmacology and Therapeutics in 2010 found that the nearly 2,500 pregnant women who used zolpidem for more than 30 days during their pregnancies had a 39 percent increased risk of low birthweight, 49 percent increased risk of preterm delivery and a 74 percent increased rate of C-section compared to the women who didnt take the drug. Dr. Riley also advised against using the dietary supplement melatonin. We just dont have enough information about its safety, she said.
